Since you are still not prepared to print the name of this person, although you are doing your best to give us clues, can you tell us why. Have these rabbonim given you an issur.
It can only mean since you dont print his name and these people mentioned do nothing to stop it, that it is not as bad as you make it. Why not ask the Gateshead rov what to do in this case. I am sure your blog is also read there.

The rest of London's chasidim believe in living and let live. 26 who are not capable of making their own kehilla meaning shechita although R Westheim managed to do it as a one man band, so if you cant beat them then normaly one says join them. But 26 believe you have to take them over. R’SL is dayan 26 but that is not enough for him he has to be in the Union as well although his shul isn’t part of it. I suppose everyone by now knows who it is. One realises that in this case one cant really go to the police. The backlash to the Jewish community would be immense. The local non-Jewish papers would be full of it and it could be very harmful to us all. Other similar 'askanim' would almost certainly lose 'their jobs worth 10-50 thousand pounds a year'. Most likely the 'culprit' knows all this and considers himself 'safe'. He has also provided his 'services' to the head of the union Vaad so he knows he wont 'harm' him.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I can think of is that he be forced to leave the country. He can go quietly without a fuss and fanfare and no one needs to know why. I am sure his 45 can find something for him to do where ever he goes and look after him as well. If he stays here this story will come out to the detriment of all of us.
If anyone has other suggestions or how to 'achieve' this one, please tell us.
To rely on our own Vaad to 'look' after him when he has them in his pocket is wishful thinking and like they have not been successful till now it is unlikely they will be successful in the future.
A new Vaad with a different make up of members, who are not from 26 (the present list contains many from there) could perhaps do a better job and that is the only alternative I can think of.
