In the English transliteration of the name of the organisation; as they have seen fit to include an apostrophe in lema'an, why isn't there one in va'ad? Furthermore, as there is a chataf pasach under the ches in "machneh" it should have been transliterated as machaneh.
I just can't work out where the ignorance lies. Is it a total lack of ability to read and write loshon hakodesh, is it a lack of ability to read and write in English, or is it that they are plain bog standard ignorant amei ho'oretz who can't do either?
Actually, I'm pretty confident that I do know where it lies, and I've yet to be proven wrong, in fact, the more I see and hear of anything that is even remotely connected to the UOHC the more convinced I become that the entire organisation is a total waste of time, space and money.
It is toichoi kebaroi, rotten and corrupt to the core externally and internally. Where only ignorance, bigotry and desecration of His name are cultivated and encouraged to grow.
They haven't thrown out the baby with the bathwater, they've thrown out the baby and kept the bathwater.
There was a huge demonstration and riots outside the OUHC office. Men and women were marching on opposite sides of the road with huge picket signs. Chanting could be heard from far distances. The message was loud and clear. CHANGE THE VAAD L'TOHAR NUMBER TO A LOCAL NUMBER!!!
So they succumbed to the enormous pressure and thus due to the public demand the number was changed. BURICH HASHEM!
