Salford sex suspect who fled bail arrested in Israel

Police have confirmed that Todros Grynhaus, a
suspected sex offender from Salford, has been arrested by Israeli police after
fleeing the UK.
Greater Manchester Police, who had been seeking the
48-year-old in the UK and abroad since he went missing two weeks ago, confirmed
that the man they believe to be Mr Grynhaus had been arrested in Jerusalem,
where he was living under a false identity.
There will now be a process to ensure his return to
the UK, although police said it was too early to ascertain whether an
extradition will be requested under a bilateral agreement already in place
between Israel and the UK.
Mr Grynhaus has pleaded not guilty to seven counts
of indecent and sexual assault against minors. Court proceedings later this
year are expected to continue once Mr Grynhaus is returned.

Salford sex suspect
flees strict bail terms

A suspected Jewish sex offender from Salford is being
tracked by police.
Salford-based Todros Grynhaus, 48, had pleaded not guilty
to seven counts of sexual or indecent assault against children in December and
was expected to be tried at Manchester Crown Court later this year.
But police said it appeared that Mr Grynhaus had abandoned
his designated address in Higher Broughton last week, breaking strict bail
terms which included surrendering his passport and a ban on foreign travel.
Greater Manchester Police have
appealed for information from the public and confirmed on Tuesday that its
officers were “making inquiries both in the UK and abroad” to close in on the
fugitive.
He must be in real do-do if he risked jumping bail. BTW I feel bad for this poor sole those of us who remember him as a kid,yes a kid [10 year old] know that he is sick. Our mothers also knew yet nothing was done to help him, besides probably a lot of Petch. The fact that he was allowed in to Chinuch, shows that those who run our system have no idea. That is very worrying. More so had he been helped as a child instead of scolded frowned upon, and practically ostracized by his age group, and class mates, it may not have come to this. My take is someone played with him at a very young age, and left behind this carnage, and all his alleged carnage. I think he wasn't helped , when & how he should have been, and his sickness got out of control. I really do pity on
ReplyDeleteWhile one must be fair and state that alleged and/or accused doesn't mean guilty it should be realised that the main reason he got into chinuch and had for years in fact decades a charmed life is because of whose son he is.
DeleteI am not jealous of his father's position in the heavenly court after 120.
