NYPD: Suspect Identified In Williamsburg Deadly Hit & Run

Brooklyn, NY - Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a pregnant Brooklyn woman, her husband and their newborn child, who died a day later after being delivered at the hospital.

Police said they are looking for Julio Acevedo, a 44-year-old Brooklyn man who served time in prison for a 1987 shooting death.

Sources say the BMW was speeding at more than 60 mph when it hit the cab.

Authorities have said a male driver and another passenger in the BMW fled the scene of the accident on foot.

Baby Born After Parents Killed In Williamsburg Crash Dies

A young Jewish Orthodox couple expecting their first child were killed in a car crash early Sunday, but their child survived.

Nathan and Raizy Glauber, both 21, were in a livery cab on their way to Long Island College Hospital to see a doctor about an issue regarding her pregnancy.

She was six months pregnant.

A BMW crashed into the side of theirs at an intersection at Kent Avenue in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Nathan Glauber was pronounced dead at Beth Israel Hospital, while his wife died at Bellevue.

The couple's son was delivered by C-section and is in critical condition, but is stabilizing.

Police say the driver of the BMW fled on foot, and remains at large.

The livery cab driver suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Hasidic community activist Isaac Abraham called the couple's death "a tragedy beyond (belief) just coming off a joyous holiday as Purim" as they were getting ready to welcome their first child.

Abraham is also a neighbor of Raizy Glauber's parents and lives two blocks from the scene of the crash.

Brooklyn is home to the largest community of ultra-orthodox Jews outside Israel, more than 250,000.
