  2. To be quite honest, where did they learn or practise shechitah, to open a shechita, albeit only Oifos, but many poiskim going back to rishoinim, claim it isn't possible to check Tzoimes hagidin.
    How large is the diameter of a chickens foot?
    subtract the bone & skin, and any fat underneath, you are left with sixteen hair thin vains, which none may be torn.
    Which expert could claim he knows how to check that? & how long would it take checking all the chicken feet?
    they also know how to shtell a chalef & be boidek, the 5 halochos, & the roiv of 2 simonim?
    I highly doubt thye know as much as any shoichet or boidek who have hands on experience.
    I also find the timming awkward, and a punch under the belt.
    Why was this needed? What is wrong with the London Board of Shechitah if Kedassia is no good for them?
    These quick fix stab in the back shechitas historicaly have shown a lack of siyata Dishmayah along with growing pains which dig deep into the kashrus of the shechita.
    If they would bring in for example the Nirbater, or rav Belsky, or for that matter Reb Chanoch Ehrentrau, or even the retired Gateshead shoichet, I would feel different about it to some extent.
    However three newbies operating a Mileneum shechita, no matter how much yiras shomayim they may or may not have, it scares me more than a little.
    What ever you have to say about the 2 shechitas in London, they have years of experience & experise backing them up, something which may take many years on a startup.
    However if they are just piggy backing on a larger shechita & are merely a new lable things may be different to some extent.
    I believe Empire has a few piggy backers so does David Elliot & KJ, so i guess if you know the real hechsher behind it, it may not be so awefall, however they may change at any given point.
    My take is that if Empire is available in the UK, although they don't do split open salting, they do have a very good system, and they may suffer of a miut sheino motzuy of tzomes hagidin problems which are being sorted. I'd go for it, because it may well be the best you will ever get.

  3. Expect exciting new developments. Eckstien meats will most likely go to his namesake dayan. The SH satmar 26 news update advertised this meat, one can expect the satmar 26 meat shop to do likewise. Wosner has not made his mark in London unlike his father and he will never find his place in kedassia, so it makes sense for him to join up as well.
