  3. Decorum? Do they mean a shul? And what is the definition of 'correct and appropriate conduct'? What misbehaviour has been taking place with the girl at the till? I think we should be told.

    Simple 'correct and appropriate conduct' is meeting with married women alone in a small confined area, e.g. a changing room. That is the closest thing in a shop to a locked room on the top floor of a Beis Hamedrash.
