HaKohol "Points To Remember"!

23 comments:

  1. Rav Steinman was asked if a cheder can refuse to accept a boy who is "more modern" and may have a bad influence on the other pupils. His emphatic reply was this has nothing to do with Yiddishkeit, it's pure Gaveh Gaveh Gaveh. The Brisker Rov went to a cheder full of boys from unsuitable homes, etc.

  2. > 3. When groups of girls or boys are to go out together ...

    Do they really mean that?

    1. Must be referring to 15 Av, when the girls come out dancing before the boys to find shidduchim.

  3. I guess they don't realize Pedophilia is the biggest killer of the neshama, & yet they don't warn against it, or make standards for it.
Parents & teachers should be educated in a way to teach children of what is inappropriate behavior, & that it should be reported without delay.
Be it parents teachers or anyone else. Only professionals can deal with it, & even if some Rabonim say calling police is messirah, unfortunately (better said fortunately) they don't understand, the damage of pedophilia.
With all due respect, however damaging a few days of TV maybe, as if it won't happen anyway, & there are legal standards of how far a TV show may go, one act of exposure can cause much more life time damage, than a whole childhood of TV & internet. Let alone fondling or worse sodomy. Yet this doesn't seem to bother the Hakohol in any way.
It is time to realize that most of Judaism has been corporatized, much like Government, there are a few bullies who run the communities, & unfortunately the Rabbonim, have become hostage to them too.
These mafia bullies very often have committed terrible crimes against humanity, & make sure to keep sweeping any crimes similar to theirs under the carpet.
It is my belief that if people know who they are, & they have even caused money loss to others due to fraud, or harassment, aided or abetted child abuse. Seeing they are mezaer (putting the entire community under duress & strain, for their own benefits) one may masser them. The more these people are weeded out & jailed, the more chance the community has to become normal, peaceful & tranquil again.
As long as just a few bloggers make fun of what commands are given out from the Politburo, & everyone else is al korchoi yaaneh omein.
    Nothing will change.

I don't disagree with you at all but I want to point out that the lomdus of stating that there is an messira in our generation is very far fetched. Look into the sugya and you'll see that it simply doesn't apply today. Moreover many true gedolim have written teshuvos allowing "messira".

A repeated sex offender is in any event a clear danger to society and therefore he may even have the status of a roidef

  6. What I find astonishing, when ever there has been a case of abuse in frum communities, the victims get very little support and the abuser gets unbelievable support even if they are found guilty.

  7. You dont seem to have read about the shechita. Kedassia is moving to France. It cant be very cheap sending staff and rabbonim there. I suppose the lorries will again have to bring the 'pigs' back to reduce costs. The price of meat will rocket sky high. There are many already buying from other shechitas. How will this affect them. People are receiving benefit cuts and wont be able to afford it.
Shechita seems to be finished in England, I would have thought Poland would be cheaper. Its their own fault really. Shechita UK makes too much noise. Yidden have to realise one does things with tsnius (not just women) but everything quietly. Making a fuss never solved anything but made things worse. Now the supermarkets and McDonald's wont touch an animal with shechita especially if Jews dont want it. At least the halal dont have this problem they eat the whole animal and have no traifus. That is exactly where the RSPCA want to put the yidden. To price shechita out of the market. They dont care about the arabs. And they have now succeeded. Its the nine day erev tisha b'av. One is not allowed to shecht in the nine days Do kedassia keep this. NO they shecht double for the holidays. Ok hashem says. You wont keep my mitsvot I will show you. You wont now be able to shecht the whole year. mida kneged mida.
Do kedassia care or realise it. No they dont. They dont read this blog.
So what will hashem do. He has half stopped Poland, France can also be stopped. Will the kedassia learn to keep shulchan oruch or brazenly transgress it. No they will never learn. R;shoim at the gates of Gehenom also think they are right. What will it take to teach them to keep the nine days. I dont know. Anyone!

    1. Have you forgotten that Paris, the capital of France, is the city of "amour", which may help explain why the kedassia rabbinate is in such a hurry to get there.

  8. Ezra, it says boys OR girls not girls AND boys.

Since we have brought down the Hakhols guide to holidays, it is only fair to create a balance and bring Reb Tickle's guide to holidays: ifyoutickleus.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-flee-from-thee-my-country.html

  9. I've reached that point where I can't tell the spoofs from the real announcements. So which is this? I need to know if I have to hide the t.v. in our holiday home. At home the kids think it's Daddy's microwave.

    1. No! You may not touch it, even if you have a towel wrapped around your hand. You must ask the landlord or a responsible adult to move it.

    1. Dont say shtissim to me. Show a bit of derech erets to someone who is not a kedassia rov and therefore deserves it..
It says you 'hide' the shechita knife. r'mo 551:9
You must be a kedassia rov who even if he would know the din would not keep it and 'hides' any din when it comes to money.
Although I dont know anyone going by the name Zanvel among them. Youre most likely one of the am haarazim dayanim I just wonder which. Maybe from the bais horoah.

  11. Pardes House used to be run like a boys' concentration camp, boys' heads banged against walls, boys thrown across classrooms by Mr K, the 7th Day Adventist headmaster. Yesodey Hatorah had years of allegations of sexual abuse against Dr WG

  12. EX Pardes victim,

I am a victim of abuse taken place in pardes house. The bullying, abuse and beatings were carried out by a current senior employee of the school some 20 years ago.

The governers all know about this "rabbi" who in my opinion is a mushches who ruins lives.

The community need to get a serious Handle on these abuse situations in schools or the widder community. Police should be immediately informed. For too long the victim, the poor child has been the last concern with the parnoso of the abuser and his shiduchim being the first consideration

No, I didn't go to the police. It all happened with the knowledge of the machers at the school. Maybe I don't have the courage to go to the police. Stigma etc,

    1. I sympathise with you. It takes much courage and a readyness to put up with the people who, instead of helping victims, turn it into a drama with the victims as the baddies.
Even this blogger has censored comments I've made, about PHS, and some of its past Jewish rebbes, who behaved incorrectly. (I know, breaching his anonymity is only a court-order away).
